More and more learning is taking place using digital tools and in digital spaces, and yet digital divides continue to exist, so in this session we review what we have learned about creating inclusive, and safe, digital learning spaces, and ask How can we inscribe this into policies that platforms can practise, that governments can enforce, and parents and students can understand?

The Future of Artificial Intelligence-Driven Environmental Solutions, January 27, 12:00-13:30
Organised by Sensory Ai
Have you ever thought of a world where environmental disasters can be accurately predicted in seconds?
Ryan Honary, a 15-year-old innovator, has created an AI-driven platform to quickly detect and predict the growth of environmental hazards. After testing the platform, this project received support from Irvine Ranch Conservancy as well as Orange County Fire Department, motivating him immensely. A demo will then be conducted. This Panel will feature fellow teen researchers and innovators, and showcase their work in tackling environmental conservation in their countries. Echoing LearningPlanet Alliance’s commitment to climate education, the session will end with an open call of action to all youth climate activists, to collectively explore further collaborations with other members of the Alliance through new multi-stakeholder paradigms.
