How to create equal learning spaces for students from different backgrounds?

With the belief that the leaders of tomorrow need to be able to share space together so they can work towards solving important developmental issues with empathy and understanding of each other’s context as they take key roles in the future world, Adhyayan Foundation created a Peer Learning Programme to bring students going to government schools and private schools in India together during the pandemic where they could meet and learn skills, share ideas and hold space while building empathy for each other through a series of interactions online. The interactions were facilitated by us and students had the opportunity to break the ice, exchange thoughts and learn about their cultures, discuss important topics such as mental health and even teach other life skills such as building a generator from scratch.
