How young people and tech innovation will shape a better world

Join us to hear how our free computing courses inspire the young changemakers of tomorrow. In this short session, we’ll share more about our latest 12-week course, Innovate for Climate Change, packed full of resources to teach students about climate action, as well as develop the computing and essential skills to make change happen. We’ll also introduce our brand new App for Social Action course, which will be available in 2023 – helping young people tackle the social challenges they care about most.

Apps for Good computing courses give students the skills and motivation to shape their future through technology, while giving teachers the support and confidence to pick up and deliver high quality content and resources. We are UK based education charity committed to offering an opportunity for all.

In the past 12 years, we’ve worked with almost 240,000 young people – with more than half of our schools in challenging circumstances and 50% of our students being girls. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, including Spotify, Google and OVO Foundation, our courses include industry expert volunteering and are available 100% free to schools.
