Peaceful Futures: project results and action steps

Peaceful Futures is action research project exploring ways to create peace based civilization on our planet in the next 50 years. Peace shouldn’t be taken for granted, and existential risks related to war are very real. If we don’t address them, sustainable human civilization should be ruled out: in words of B.Fuller, “either war is obsolete, or humans are”.
Through foresights&dialogues, participants from 40+ countries explored political, economic, tech & socio-cultural strategies to create peace for all. A time map of critical paths towards peace was created, and an opportunity map of civic and cultural peace-focused solutions was produced. In 2023, the project will create thematic groups to explore aspects of Peaceful Futures, and during the session together with participants we aim to explore possibilities of “making peaceful futures real”.
