Re-imagining education through the FIDS

This is a 3 hour intergenerational, hands-on workshop to introduce the Design for Change methodology of Feel, Imagine, Do and Share (FIDS). We will rethink of the goal of education and imagine it to be to empower students to become happy, creative and active citizens that make the world a better place. Teachers are invited to participate with one of their students and collaboratively design solutions for schools working in this direction.

Design for Change is a simplified Design Thinking methodology that gives children the skills to take action and create positive change in their communities. It is also a global movement, present in 60 countries, that works with schools and educators to empower children to say “I CAN”.

What you will get from this workshop:
-Discover the four simple steps of the Design for Change methodology: Feel, Imagine, Do and Share, that can transform every classroom into a student-centered creative hub.
– Learn how to use simple design thinking tools to create a cooperative and participatory environment
– Discover your creative superpowers, have fun and get inspired working in an inter-generational group
– Enhance your critical thinking and growth mindset
– Reflect on your own definition of well-being while reaching a consensus with the rest of your team on what is meaningful teaching in the 21st century.

Children will have the opportunity to work in a respectful environment together with adults and express their wishes for an education that is tailored to their needs.

Teachers, school directors and educators will discover tools for engaging and motivating students in the classroom, inspiring creativity and improving teamwork.

The session will be held in Serbian.

Trosatna interaktivna radionica namenjena svim uzrastima biće uvod u Design For Change metodologiju kroz Oseti, Zamisli, Uradi i Podeli (OZUP) faze. Razmišljaćemo o ciljevima obrazovanja i zamislićemo da je jedan od njih osnaživanje đaka da postanu srećni, kreativni i aktivni građani i građanke koji će učiniti svet boljim mestom.

Pozivamo vas da učestvujete u radionici zajedno sa đacima i kroz odnos saradnje dizajnirate rešenja za škole koje razmišljaju upravo u pravcu pomenutih ciljeva.

O metodologiji

Design For Change je pojednostavljena forma tzv. Design Thinking metodologije koja pruža đacima veštine potrebne da bi se pokrenuli i kreirali pozitivne promene u svojim zajednicama. Istoimeni globalni pokret postoji u oko 60 zemalja i radi sa školama i edukatorima na osnaživanju đaka na razvijanju “Ja mogu!” stava.

Zašto je ova radionica stvorena baš za vas?

– Otkrićete četiri jednostavna koraka Design For Change metodologije: OSETI, ZAMISLI, URADI i PODELI koji pretvaraju svaku učionicu u kreativni prostor u kojem su učenici/ce u centru

– Naučićete kako da koristite jednostavne Design Thinking alate za biste za đake kreirali saradničko okruženje u kojem mogu aktivno da učestvuju

– Otkrićete svoje kreativne supermoći, zabavićete se i dobićete inspiraciju radeći u urasno heterogenoj grupi – sa odraslima i decom

– Podstaći ćete vaše kritičko mišljenje i stav o stalnom učenju i napredovanju

– Razmišljaćete o sopstvenom shvatanju pojma blagostanje i tome šta podrazumeva smisleno podučavanje u 21. veku

Sa druge strane, đaci će imati priliku da rade u podržavajućem okruženju zajedno sa odraslima i izražavaju svoje želje u vezi sa obrazovanjem krojenom na osnovu njihovih potreba.

Nastavnici/ce, učitelji/ce i edukatori/ke će otkriti nove alate za uključivanje i motivisanje đaka u učionici, podstičući kreativnost i timski rad.
