Teachers for the Planet Programme Launch

teachersForThePlanet

Are you an exceptional educator working to address the climate crisis in your school?

The Teachers for the Planet Programme is a global coalition that galvanizes leading experts in climate change and education to make more explicit and concrete links between the education and climate change sectors for real impact at school- and system-level with tangible outputs that transform education towards climate action and leadership. The coalition and programme puts teachers and education leaders firmly at the centre of the educational response to our climate crisis.

We have learned from research, forums, and peers that the key missing constituency to transforming education systems for the planet are those from schools themselves.

In other words, educators and teachers are often absent from the design of the educational response to the climate crisis. Over the next 10 months, we intend to change this, through building a community and inspiring action on climate education.
