Greening School Grounds and Outdoor Learning case study and agenda launch

GL_Benefits_Graphic

Building upon a year-long effort supported by Children & Nature Network, Salzburg Global Seminar, International School Grounds Alliance and IUCN Commission on Education and Communication and Nature For All, we have worked together to understand what is happening with Greening School Grounds and Outdoor Learning around the world. We have created a Global Action Agenda and 13 case studies on fascinating, scalable work happening globally. We are working together to fulfill the vision that every child around the world engages meaningfully with nature every day. In this session, you will hear from three organizations –Global Diversity Foundation, Tereza and Green Cameroon – on the work that they are doing to support school ground greening and outdoor learning as a way to enhance climate resilience and improve health and education outcomes – especially for children most impacted by systems of inequity and environmental injustice. Please see more about the project at schoolgroundgreening.c
