Imagination TV : Educating at the Margins

Copy-of-Events-Learning-Planet-Festival

Imagination is the beginning of human thought and action; action drives change. We want to see imagination in action to transform education, and we’re inviting you to be part of the change. Join this series of Imagination TV sessions hosted specially for the LearningPlanet Festival, to hear from communities around the world using imagination to rethink the challenges of our time.

In this first Imagination TV episode of the Festival, hear how despite the many barriers put up, inspiring initiatives are imagining solutions to provide access to learning, notably for refugees. From setting up schools for 2000 students in 24 hours, to transporting libraries in barely the size of a cardboard box; discover people around the world who are fighting for education of those in most need.

Speakers:
Fiston Muganda, LearningPlanet Youth Fellow, Stateless
Muy-Cheng Peich, Director of Education, Impact and Research, Libraries without Borders
Annesofie Norn, Curator, Museums for the UN
