Climate, biodiversity, food, water, energy, poverty, inequality, democracy… Faced with the scale and complexity of the environmental and societal challenges that are having a massive impact on their future, young people – 2.6 billion of the world’s population under the age of 20 – are currently facing huge barriers to act. And this powerlessness is reflected in mental health crises affecting young people worldwide.
This session is followed by the session “Youth Empowerment and Well-Being – Panel Discussion”.
