Amanda Ellis

Amanda Ellis serves as co-chair of the global WE Empower UN SDG Challenge launched by the UN Secretary General in 2018. ASU is ranked top in the US for SDG impact and in the top ten universities globally, as well as number one in innovation in the US for seven years running.
Previously New Zealand’s Head of Mission and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva and Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to Francophone Africa (2013-16), Amb Ellis played a key role in NZ’s successful UN Security Council bid.
