Ahmad Nisar is a social activist from Afghanistan. He runs a grassroots youth-led organization called “Changemaker” focusing on pushing the narrative around mental health and merging its interconnected links with other SDGs. Since 2018, he’s actively advocated for changing policies and making impact as a volunteer teacher, global youth reporter for team harmony foundation (reporting on issues like women and civil rights), Young leader for Women Deliver, fellow for Orygen global (Mental health advocacy), and external reviewer for Grands challenge Canada won him the John Lewis double-trouble award, a nomination for International children’s peace prize, along with best project of the year award from the Ministry of education.
