David Berliner is a Regents Professor Emeritus in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College in the division of educational leadership and policy studies. He has taught at the universities of Arizona and Massachusetts, and Stanford University, as well as at universities in Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland.
Berliner has authored more than 400 articles, books and chapters in the fields of educational psychology, teacher education, and educational policy, including the best-seller The Manufactured Crisis[2] (co-authored with B.J. Biddle). He also co-authored Putting Research to Work in your School[4] with his wife, Ursula Casanova.
