François Grey

François is a Professor at the University of Geneva and Director of Citizen Cyberlab, a lab focussed on public participation for tackling the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and based on a partnership between CERN, the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the University of Geneva. François manages the development of methodologies that combine crowdsourcing and AI for research, as well as a comprehensive education programme on innovation for the SDGs, the Geneva Tsinghua Initiative. Since 2020, he also manages the European project Crowd4SDG, which coaches online teams on how to use crowdsourcing tools to track progress towards the SDGs.
