Michael Daube | BFA Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York. Founder of the organization CITTA.
Being an artist, with a strong interest in anthropology and archaeology, he has travelled to many remote areas of the world, studying and experiencing different cultures. After a trip to India for a year, he opened an art studio in Jersey City. While looking for sculpture materials in a dumpster, he found a David Hockney portrait of Ozzie Clark, and sold it to build a basic healthcare hospital in India. NGO CITTA has built the world’s most sustainable school in Rajasthan.
