Stephine started in education in 2009, when she moved to France to begin my Master’s in teaching French as a foreign language. After teaching in different types of classrooms from 2009 to 2016, she now works in school administration. Her choice to work in admin comes from a desire to change how we define different roles in an educational ecosystem (teacher, student, school leader, etc.) in an effort to create environments conducive to collaboration and learning.
As an advocate with the OnJustice Group, Stephine also aims to create opportunities for collaboration.
A wise man (Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika) once said: “Involve yourself in communities that are collectively working to exert power on institutionalized oppressive systems”. I can’t solve social justice problems alone, and neither can you. How about if we solve them together?”
