Fridays For Future
Ūla Balaševičiūtė is an 18-year-old Lithuanian high school student and climate justice activist within Fridays for Future. She is active both on a national and international level and has participated in a variety of initiatives, campaigns and meetings. During 2019-2020 she was a local coordinator of the LSSU programme “Ž. E. M. E.” which aimed at making schools environmentally sustainable. In 2021, she joined the Fridays for Future Climate Education team and has been advocating for the inclusion of climate education in her country’s curriculum since then.
